Here are a selection of photographs from our STEM Week which took place in Summer 2022. The whole school took part and accepted the challenge to support NASA in its mission to explore Mars. We had a number of tasks and worked in mixed age and ability groups. We had to design several components that would contribute to the missions' success including safe touchdown for the capsule, a bridge for any craters or expanses, a propulsion system for the MARS Rover that would explore the surface and of course the rocket to get them there. It was a fun week when we got to mix with children from all over school which we don't often get chance to do. So, was our mission a success, wait and see...
