Mr MacDonald and Miss Rooney were absolutely delighted with the start the children made in their new classrooms. The attitude and effort shown by the children during the transition weeks was excellent and we cannot wait for September to welcome the children back and continue our journey together.

There were some usual lessons like reading, writing and maths but there was also a heavy focus on PSHE lessons where the teachers and children shared information about themselves as they looked to build positive relationships ready for September. As well as this we set out our targets for the next academic year and turned these into some eye-catching displays in the year 4 cloakroom and classrooms.
