Another week has flown by in Year 6! ✨

➗📊 Maths – We’ve been solving 1 and 2-step algebraic equations and restarted our weekly arithmetic assessments – who’s going to make it into the 30 Club this time? 💪🏆

📝 Writing – We’ve begun looking at non-chronological reports, feature-spotting using our toolkits, comparing different reports, and critiquing & upleveling one to improve it! ✍️🔍

🗺️ Geography – We’ve been exploring the USA, learning about different states and starting to examine key geographical features of the country. 🌎⭐

🏸 PE – A brand-new sport for us this term… Badminton! We’ve been working on our coordination and racket skills. 💥💨

📚🎤 World Book Day Fun! – We had a fantastic time at Ryecroft, reading with the lovely FS2 children. Then, back at school, we got creative with rapping, inspired by MC Grammar’s “World Book Day” and “I Love Books” raps! 🎶📖🎤
