The children have started their new Geography unit - Mountains!

In our first lesson, we re-capped on continents of the world and then used a map and atlas to find key features of the UK such as mountains and rivers. 

We then used our problem-solving skills and resources to figure out where certain people live based on geographical clues; this really got the children to practice using all the features of an atlas.

We are looking forward to diving deeper into the unit over the next few weeks!
