We finished off our science topic "Properties and Changes of Materials" today, looking at reversible and irreversible changes.

We discussed a variety of methods we could use to separate materials. Then, we looked into irreversible changes and what happens when combining two reactants and how this can create a new product after a chemical reaction takes place!

We finished off the lesson by combining bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. The children explained the process they saw using the scientific vocabulary discussed in the lesson.

What a way to end a unit of work! Well done everybody.
