Rosehill Junior School (RJS) is a community based, Local Authority maintained dual intake Junior School in Rawmarsh, Rotherham. We provide spaces for up to 240 KS2 students and work closely with our close partner Ryecroft Infant School and the significant majority of pupils transfer from there at the beginning of KS1, remaining together until they leave us 4 years later.

We have a maximum class size of 30 (totalling 60 across a year group - 2x Classes) and dedicated team working within each of teachers and teaching assistants. To ensure our children receive the right level of support and challenge, we offer a range of interventions and support packages which are predominantly provided internally by our experienced teams.

Our staff wholeheartedly believe in, and celebrate, the unique values and character of each child, clear in the knowledge that success is built around positive relationships based on mutual trust and respect! This approach along with our unique traditions of Arts and STEM projects along with our curriculum vision help make Rosehill a great place to be.
