Along with many other schools in the country, we will be celebrating Roald Dahl day on Wednesday the 13th of September. This event is to celebrate the wonderful range of stories written by Roald Dahl and share a love of reading.

On this day, children will be able to participate in reading activities related to the work of Roald Dahl and are invited to come into school dressed up as a character from a Roald Dahl book. Roald Dahl wrote lots of books with many characters, so we are excited to see the range of costumes.

The Witches; BFG; Matilda; George's Marvellous Medicine; James and the Giant Peach; Danny the Champion of the World; The Twits; The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me; Esio Trot; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator; Enormous Crocodile; Fantastic Mr Fox; Boy; Magic Finger.
