The children have enjoyed exploring deeper into our Earth and Space topic this week!

We have been learning all about how the position of the Earth creates the day and night cycle, as well as the seasons. We looked into why we get less hours of daylight in the winter and more in the summer. 

To help create a more practical and engaging lesson, the children created their own representations of the day and night cycle, using equipment from around school.
