Autumn Week 2 update
We've had a fantastic second week in Year 4!
- Maths: We explored place value, showing how to represent and partition numbers up to 10,000.
- English: Our focus has been on critiquing and improving character descriptions, alongside mastering the use of possessive apostrophes.
- Reading: We began chapter one of The Iron Man and have been working on our inference and retrieval skills.
- PE: The class improved their passing techniques, learning to choose the best pass and positioning for shooting.
- Science: We kicked off our ‘States of Matter’ unit, learning about particles in solids, liquids, and gases.
- Computing: This week, we learnt about the components of the Internet.
- Spanish: We practiced greetings and answering the question "How are you?" in Spanish.
Special Mentions: Well done to Edith and Tiana (4H), and Aleyah A and Miller (4P) for their outstanding efforts this week.
Always Children: Congratulations to Hunter and Lola F (4H), and Emily and Freya (4P) for always demonstrating positive behaviour!
