What a fantastic first week back at school we’ve had at Rosehill! It was absolutely wonderful to see all the children arrive, eager and ready to dive back into learning.
 

We’ve kicked things off with our new guided reading book, Goodnight Mr Tom, which has already captured their imaginations. In addition, we've begun exploring the writing genre of diaries and jumped straight back into Maths, focusing on place value.

Friday was especially exciting as we celebrated a brilliant WWII Day! The children discovered the life of an evacuee, sang some era-specific songs, and even learned how to dance in the style of the time—what a hoot!

Just a little reminder that our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, don’t miss Roald Dahl Day on Friday, 13th September—keep an eye on Class Dojo for updates!
