Notices:

All children need their PE kits for Wednesday each week and their swimming kits for Friday each week.

Please continue collecting sponsors for our upcoming sponsored walk - this will take place towards the end of this week!

The children should be bringing their reading books and reading journals in every day of the week and will be given chance to change their library books on Tuesday.

Please allow time for children to be practising their times tables on TTrockstars and learning their spelling pattern for the week.

This Week's Learning:

- In Maths, we will be continuing our topic of decimals
- In English, we will start looking at Poetry, starting with 'The Sound Collector'
- In Reading, we will be continuing to improve our answers to vocabulary, retrieval and inference questions through non-fiction texts about World War I
- In Science, we will be continuing to look at grouping and classifying in our new topic - Living Things and Their Habitats - this week focussing on the new vocabulary of vertebrates and invertebrates.
- In History, we will be learning about why WWI ended.
- In PSHE, we will be looking at keeping safe
- In PE, we will be continuing with our new topic of cricket
- In Spanish - we will be looking at the names of different rooms in our house
